The United Sport Karate Organisation
Here at the United Sport Karate Organisation (USKO) we practice the modern style of Sport Karate based on traditional Wado-Ryu. Sport Karate is a combination of martial arts blended with techniques from boxing. With its dynamic kicks and punches, Sport Karate is a great way for the whole family to keep fit and have fun in a friendly environment.
Sport karate with the USKO is a brilliant way for children to receive the exercise that so many of them fail to get enough of these days. It can also serve to greatly boost their confidence while at the same time teaching them what could be valuable self-defence.
The USKO currently has clubs in Bristol, Chepstow, Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend and Swansea with plans for more clubs in South Wales soon.
The USKO is a member of the Welsh Karate Governing Body, the only Sports Council recognized governing body for karate in Wales.
