Disability Sport England is proud to announce that they will be hosting the disability sport zone at next weekend's "Evening Standard Sport Show". The exhibition will be held over 3 days- 4th/ 5th/ 6th July at Earls Court. It represents the first major show for all sports in one hall, covering a variety of NGBs from basketball to extreme sports. Disability Sport England, English Federation of Disability Sport and London Sports Forum join forces to bring you the one-stop information area for anyone interested in disability sport. There will be staff available involved in all areas of disability sport, so you will be guaranteed to be guided in the right direction whatever your need. A permanent synthetic ice rink will be in place with adaptations for disabled people to have a go. This is bound to be an attraction with the snow machine and skating characters guaranteed to attract the younger age groups (or the curious older ones!). Youth Sport Trust Activity Bags will be on show, which hold a variety of adapted games suitable for all abilities. These are an ideal product to buy with integration forming a major part of education. Unique Sport will have their specially designed gym equipment on display. They are one of the rare producers of training equipment for Wheelchair users and Rehabilitation exercise. With their rolling road and ski machine, wheelchair users can take a look at the beneficial equipment available. Whether you are a disabled person, coach, teacher or sports development officer, this zone is one not to be missed. Make sure you visit to see disability sport on the podium it should be on.
