Local Boy Adam Cox mixes with the greatest!

The 2003 British Junior Champion Adam Cox, from West Lothian, Scotland, will join his team mates Ross Brewer and David Massam and all the phenomenal gymnasts from 28 countries, who will compete in the Glasgow Grand Prix and World Cup, 29/31 October, at the Kelvin Hall.
Cox is one of the most talented British gymnasts known for his elegant style of performance, first and foremost on High Bar. He is 17 years old (born 13/11/1986) and is coached by Dr Jia- En Tan at the Alloa Gym Club.
Tuesday, 12 October, the Entry List for the event remains subject to changes. It now reads Eire, stepping in for the first time, and South Africa joining the field..
Confirmation from the Russian Gymnastics Federation is expected, to advise which of their top male gymnasts, Nikolay Krukov (many times Olympic, World and European medallist), or Alexander Safoshkin (the 2003 winner on Rings and 7th in Athens), will come to Glasgow.
Meanwhile, Germany has announced the participation of their new prodigy Fabian Hambuchen, former Junior Champion on P. Bars, and one of the hot favourites of the Olympic audience in Athens, who helped his team reach the Final.
The 2002 World Cup holder and current European Champion on High Bar, Aljaz Pegan from Slovenia, is coming again, together with his team mate Mitja Petkovsek, last year’s winner on P.Bars and former World and European medallist on this apparatus.
Italy will be represented by Alberto Busnari, current European Silver medallist on Pommels and former European Silver medallist on Rings.
Takehiro Kashima from Japan had to withdraw due to illness.
Glasgow will see three of the current leaders in the World Ranking Lists: Jordan Jovchev (BUL), first on Rings and Floor; Aljaz Pegan (SLO), first on High Bar and Elena Zamolodchikova (RUS), the leader on Vault.
Of those competing in Glasgow, those who hold second positions in the World Rank List are Leszek Blanic (POL), on Vault; Mitja Petkovsek (SLO), on P.Bars; Oxana Chussovitina (UZB), on women’s Vault; Beth Tweddle (GBR), on A. Bars and Ludmila Ezhova (RUS), on Beam.
China and Netherlands are coming with the most numerous delegations (13 and 11 members respectively).
