England Squash select SportFocus for Membership
18th May 2005England Squash this week selected SportFocus to implement a new web based Membership Management module.
Peter Atkinson of SportFocus said ' we are delighted with the decision as we have been working with England Squash for the last 2 years with the implementation of the National Grading system and League Manager. This decision will now allow all County League Managers to have easy access to their own slice of the membership data for use within the County League structure, thus enabling all league results to be automatically fed to the Grading System if required."
The new Membership Module will be live by July. England Squash join a growing number of national Governing Bodies who have selected the Membership Module from SportFocus.
The SportFocus Membership Management module has been designed to take advantage of 2 existing features of the SportFocus technology – the database structure and the self-publishing of the database information.
The system is designed and structured in the same way that Sport is and so has a hierarchical structure, giving people controlled access at each level of the structure.
This enables people at all levels through permission based secure access, to see and modify their data right the way down to the basic generic member contact details and allowing the member to modify their own details, thus removing the overhead from the central office.
If the member does not have access to the Internet then the club can modify the details for him/her and also modify data that the member may not have permission to change such as Coaching or Qualification levels etc.
This approach delivers a unique membership system to all in the structure adding value down the chain and ensuring clubs have the ability to use this as their own internal membership module to track information about their members and use it for web based e-marketing.
