English Junior Team in need of Sponsors
12th September 2002The English Junior team is desperately hunting financial sponsors for the upcoming European Junior Championships in France.
The team — hotly tipped for a top place finish — is receiving no financial sponsorship from companies or individuals from in or out of the surfing industry. With travel and accommodation expenses required for a squad of seventeen to compete in the event in southern France finances are currently very tight.
The prestige of sponsoring a national team that contains title challenges such as Reubyn Ash and Johnny Fryer offers great name association and credibility to any sponsor. Large scale media coverage for the event is expected through out Europe, with the teams progress being tracked by local and national media.
