Post: 3 year contract (subject to funding in year 3)

Salary: £16,000 (38hrs per week, equivalent to 5 days per week)

Location: Thurstable School Sports College (Tiptree), working across three additional

                  School Sports Partnerships over the Essex Region

Gymnastics Club Coach Award                                                Gymnastics Senior Club Coach Award

Trampolining Coach Award                                                      Trampolining Club Coach Award

Coaching experience within a club or school setting                   Gymnastics coaching awards in other disciplines

Current Driving Licence & Transport                                        Basic knowledge of principles of sports development

 

The successful coach will:

 

·        Deliver gymnastics and trampolining coaching work throughout the three School Sport Partnerships, the wider community and within the club setting

 

·        Encourage young people to take part in gymnastics and trampolining with a focus on player pathways that exist within the ‘Long Term Athlete Development’ framework with an emphasis on pathways through to clubs

 

·        Monitor all activities and be responsible, where appropriate, for generating income through various means

 

·        Have good administration skills in order to support school staff and clubs in the collection of data relevant to Sport England and British Gymnastics
