Surfing Life South Coast Challenge

Surfing Life Surf Shop will host the sixth event on the Headworx BPSA UK Tour 2002. The event is the biggest surfing contest held in the area and attracts surfers from all over the UK to Challaborough Beach, South Devon hoping to pick up valuable points and prize money.

Nathan Phillips (Wales), current event champion, will be the surfer to beat however inform Alan Stokes and tour leader Mark Harris will be hoping for success as they both push for the top position in the ratings. South African Llewellyn Whittaker and Australian Derek Bassed who both made the final of the Headworx Welsh BPSA Open will also be hoping to continue their run of form.

The event is organised in conjunction with Plymouth University, many of the students from the Surf Science and Technology Degree course work on the event, without their support it would not be possible.
