Sport & fitness industry course prices are crunched
5th February 2009TeamBath’s National Fitness Academy is helping you tackle the credit crunch by crunching the prices of its professional training and development courses for the sport and fitness industries by up to 50 per cent.
In the current economic climate, more and more people are looking for opportunities to retrain – either to add an extra string to their bow or to open up a new career path.
TeamBath National Fitness Academy runs a comprehensive portfolio of courses. Some of them are full or part-time, but many can be studied online at your own convenience, with some face-to-face elements.
“We’ve made some significant reductions in the prices of our courses, making them even better value,” said Jo Hawkes, National Fitness Academy manager.
“A lot of the people who join our courses are looking to retrain so they can earn extra money or maybe turn their passion into a new career.”
Among the reductions, the price of following the Level 2 Certificate in Gym Fitness Instruction has gone down from £1000 to £500. It is available as a full-time, part-time or online course.
Further reductions can be achieved by combining several courses in a package.
Among the courses starting in the near future is the full-time Level 3 Strength and Conditioning course, which takes place over eight days starting on Monday 30th March.
The part-time Sports Massage Therapy course, studied over 10 successive weekends, starts on Saturday 18th April and the full-time Level 2 Strength and Conditioning course runs for four days from Monday 15th June.
There are full-time Personal Trainer courses at various dates in the summer.
The National Fitness Academy is also adding a range of new courses in Nutrition and Weight Management and in Exercise for Low Back Pain to its portfolio later in the year.
All of the National Fitness Academy’s fitness courses are registered with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).
