England’s rhythmic gymnasts rounded off their Commonwealth Games on Thursday by competing individually in the rope, hoop and ribbon at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Eighteen-year-old Francesca Fox, from Trowbridge in Wiltshire, finished eighth in the rope final with a score of 22.150 while her teammate Rachel Ennis achieved seventh with the hoop, scoring 22.850.

Ennis was joined in the hoop competition by 15-year-old Lynne Hutchison from Bath, who scored 22.500 to finish just behind Ennis in eighth.

The British Championship ribbon gold medallist, who was born in Tokyo and is the youngest member of the England gymnastics team, also finished eighth in the last event of the day, the ribbon.
