Greig/Lockhart Quaichs' Finalists Decided

Although the number of rinks taking part in the Greig/Lockhart Quaichs is down this season, the competition is as fierce as ever. Two of the semi-finals played on 14th October finished level and the winners had to be decided by the Draw Challenge in which a single stone delivered by one member from each team decides the result. In the Greig Quaich Jim Mason was successful doing this against Iain Brown with Cath Johnston (skipping for Jim Browning) similarly getting the better of Jeanette Cormack in the Lockhart semi-final. The other 2 rinks in the finals to be held on 11th November are Dorothy Bennett who defeated Peter Brown 7-4 in the Greig semi and David Martin winning 8-5 against Bob Johnston in the Lockhart.
