Fancy trying something new this Spring?

8th February 2011

The British Horse Society (BHS) will be encouraging people to ‘have a go in the saddle’ at this year’s British Leisure Show, which runs from the 11-13 March at Windsor Race Course.

With the help of Trigger the mechanical horse, the BHS is hoping to introduce children and adults of all ages to the thrills of riding. Free rides on the trusty steed will be available all day, every day under the guidance of a BHS Registered Instructor.

The BHS hopes to build on its success at last year’s show where Trigger was easily one of the most popular attractions for children, some of whom had never seen a horse or pony before, let alone sat on one. The Society’s aim is to ignite people’s passion for horses and to guide new riders safely into the sport by promoting its Approved Riding Centres and Registered Instructors.

So if you have never tired riding before and want a go - or for those of you who have never thought of trying – why not visit the BHS and meet Trigger - who knows what adventures may begin for you?
