Burns heading to Budapest World Cup
9th February 2011University of Bath graduate and TeamBath judo player Andy Burns has been selected to represent Great Britain at the first men¹s World Cup of the year, which takes place in Hungary this weekend.
Burns, a Coach Education and Sports Development graduate, competes in the under-90kg class at the World Cup in Budapest after winning bronze at the Belgium Open last month.
Fellow TeamBath athlete Emmanuel Nartey represents Ghana in the under-73kg class in Budapest. The pair are both coached by University of Bath head judo coach Juergen Klinger.
