Britons fill main draw at AEGON GB Pro-Series Wrexham

A number of British players have taken main draw opening round spots in the AEGON GB Pro-Series Wrexham week 1.
Following an all-British clash between Samantha Murray and Alicia Barnett, Melanie South, seeded third, leads the way as she takes on Germany’s Nicola Geuer in her opening round match.
In another first round all-British meeting Anna Fitzpatrick and Emily Webley-Smith are set to play each other, while Lisa Whybourn is up against Peangtarn Plipuech (THA) and Danieka Borthwick is taking on second seeded Slovakian Lenka Wienerova.
Play is due to start at 10.00am.
