Broady into singles semi & Edmund into doubles final

Liam Broady is into the singles semi-finals and Kyle Edmund is into the doubles final at the junior US Open in New York.
 
Broady, the 18 year old junior world No.13, needed two tie-breaks but came through 7-6(6), 7-6(4) against South Africa's Wayne Montgomery to set up a semi-final against Japanese eighth seed Kaichi Uchida.
 
Edmund and his Portuguese partner Frederico Ferreira Silva were 6-2, 6-4 winners over Nishioka (JPN) & Herreros (PER) to move one match away from the doubles title at Flushing Meadows.
 
The pair are seeded eighth and will play Australian sixth seeds Nick Kyrgios & Jordan Thompson in the final on Saturday.
 
The doubles final is second on Court 11 after a 4pm (BST) start and Broady's semi-final starts proceedings on Court 13 at 4pm (BST).
 
Andy Murray's men's singles semi-final against Tomas Berdych is the opening match on Arthur Ashe Stadium Court at 4pm (BST).
