AEGON GB Pro-Series Loughborough main draw progresses

Day one of main draw at the ATP Challenger in Loughborough saw British No.3 Jamie Baker and wild card Ashley Hewitt advance into the second round.
 
Baker, who spent his teenage years training at Loughborough, overcame the loss of the first set to fellow Brit and qualifier Tom Burn to win 3-6, 6-1, 6-2. Of the six singles matches played on Monday another all British affair saw the in-form Ashley Hewitt beat Richard Bloomfield.
 
Hewitt who reached the final in Glasgow two weeks ago now plays Israeli Dudi Sela in round two. Sela who has been ranked 27 in the world, beat Germanys Peter Torebko in the opening round.
 
Tuesday sees top seed and 2011 Loughborough Champion Tobias Kamke in action against Swedish qualifier Patrik Rosenholm, whilst second seed Aljaz Bedene takes on British No.4 Dan Evans.
 
Also, in action on Tuesday is former Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Champion Jamie Murray, who is partnering Josh Goodall from 5.00pm.
