Judoka Natasha makes it ten medals at international level

Natasha Maslen, a 19 year-old Sports Performance student, won bronze at the European Cup at the weekend in Malaga, Spain, to take Team Bath’s tally of senior international medals to ten this year.
Maslen is now ranked fourth in the UK in the under-70kgs category just behind 2012Olympic silver medallist Gemma Gibbons who also trained with Team Bath in the past.
“We have a very good base of athletes at the moment at Team Bath and that is being reflected well in the medals that we have won”, said Team Bath Head Judo Coach, Juergen Klinger.
The weekend’s tournament was staged by the Royal Spanish Judo Federation with Holland’s Atoinette Hennink winning the title in the under-70kgs for women.
