Anderson Swoops To Freshen Up Squad

11th April 2013

Huddersfield Giants Head Coach Paul Anderson has freshened up his Super League squad with the addition on a month’s loan of Wolves hooker Brad Dwyer. The nineteen year old will train with his new club today and be available for selection for Sunday’s game versus Hull Kingston Rovers at the John Smith’s Stadium kick off 3pm.

Anderson said of Dwyer’s attributes:

“He is very quick and smart out of dummy half and will bring something new to the team. He is keen to have a shot at Super League after debuting a while back now and it gives me some rotation consideration for some of our middle men who have already played long minutes this year. I would like to thank Tony Smith and the Warrington club for allowing us to bring in Brad.”

Brad Dwyer made his debut in Super League last year with eight appearances in all for the Wolves before this year spending time on dual registration in the Championship with Swinton where he crossed for two tries in three appearances.

Dwyer has been handed squad number 30.
