National Championships announced for 2014
19th September 2013Triathlon England has unveiled the Triathlon England - National Championships for the 2014 season and aims to build upon the success of the 2013 model.
The 2013 season is year the number of Triathlon England - National Championships was increased from three races to a total of seven, with only the Essex Off Road Duathlon left to run on 27 October. This improved format of seven championships will be replicated for 2014 which will provide the opportunity for Triathlon England members to be crowned national champion.
This year's Triathlon England - National Championships have been hailed a success with positive feedback from event organisers and athletes alike. This was reflected in the record number of bids put forward by event organisers across the country.
Iain Hamilton of One Step Beyond said: “We are pleased to be hosting the Triathlon England – National Club Relays Championships again. The festival atmosphere at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham makes this one of the highlights of the year and the lure of winning national titles ensures there is plenty of friendly competition.”

With the announcement of our 2014 schedule we are confident these championships will continue to grow and inspire even more triathletes to get involved.”
Each successful event has demonstrated the highest quality event management and provided competitors with the opportunity to achieve their personal triathlon challenges in a safe and enjoyable environment.
