Girl golfers target England’s ‘most improved’ title

24th July 2013

Talented youngsters from across the country are heading to this weekend’s national final of the Abraham Trophy for England’s most improved girl golfers.

The 20 girls have all qualified for the final on the basis of handicap reduction. They will play off for the England Golf title at Tiverton Golf Club, Devon, on Sunday, July 28.

They include 13-year-old Amelia Williamson of Royal Cromer in Norfolk, whose mother, Tracey, won the Abraham Trophy in 1983. Amelia is taking part in the final for the second consecutive year.
