Mass registration for Belgrade 2027 European Running Championships open
by 3rd June 2026
Following the successful first edition of the European Running Championships, held in Brussels-Leuven 2025, Belgrade has been awarded the honour of hosting the second edition of this unique event.
On 17–18 April 2027, the Serbian capital will become the centre of European running, bringing together elite athletes, recreational runners and running enthusiasts from across Europe.
Recreational runners will have the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of an official European Athletics championship and take part in the same event weekend as Europe's best athletes competing for continental titles.
What makes this event truly unique is that recreational runners are not simply taking part in a mass participation race.
In each discipline, the top 25 men and top 25 women from every country will contribute to their national ranking in the European Running Championships, giving participants a unique opportunity to represent their country through their performance.
The marathon, half marathon and 10km races will welcome thousands of participants to the streets of Belgrade, creating a unique experience that goes far beyond an ordinary running event.
