France top medal table as Spain and Germany enjoy final flourish in Ljubljana-Kamnik 2026

Jan Torrella took Spain's first title of the Ljubljana-Kamnik 2026 European Athletics Off-Road Running Championships in Slovenia on Sunday (7), as he won the senior men's Up and Down race, with Germany's Hanna Gröber taking the senior women's title on a memorable final day of action in Slovenia.
There was further German success with Julia Ehrle winning gold in the women's U20 race, adding to her Uphill bronze as France's Basile Astier won gold in the men's U20 race.
With the championships drawing to a conclusion, France topped the medal table with 17 medals including eight gold to round off a highly successful three days' racing.
