This weekend promises two fantastic days of championship athletics action, with FREE live streams* from both the Balkan Championships in Volos, Greece and the UK Athletics Championships in Birmingham available on the European Athletics website on Saturday (20) and Sunday (21).

Balkan Championships (Volos, Greece)

Olympic and European long jump champion Miltiadis Tentoglou headlines the action as he renews his exciting rivalry with Bulgaria's Bozhidar Saraboyukov, who defeated the Greek star indoors earlier this year.

There's also the return of former Olympic pole vault champion Katerina Stefanidi (GRE), world-class throwers including Elina Tzengko (GRE), Andrei Toader (ROM) and Iosif Kesidis (CYP), plus sprint sensation Polyniki Emmanouilidou (GRE), who is chasing an impressive three gold medals on home soil.

UK Athletics Championships (Birmingham)

The UK's biggest stars will be on show at Alexander Stadium, the future home of the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships.

Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson steps down to the 400m to face world indoor gold medallist Amber Anning, while world indoor 1500m champion Georgia Hunter Bell tackles the 800m.

The women's sprints feature a blockbuster clash between Amy Hunt, Dina Asher-Smith and Daryll Neita, while the men's 100m could be one of the races of the weekend with Jeremiah Azu, Zharnel Hughes, Romell Glave and Louis Hinchliffe all set to line up.
