LIVE action from Czechia, Israel, France and Romania this week!

The action keeps coming on European Athletics channels this week, with four live streams featuring world medallists, Olympians, rising stars and fast road racing from across Europe.

From high-flying action in Czechia and World Athletics Continental Tour meetings in Jerusalem and Troyes to a stacked 10K field in Romania, there’s plenty to watch over the coming days.

The 30th edition of this iconic women-only high jump meeting brings together an outstanding field led by world silver medallist Maria Zodzik. USA champion Charity Hufnagel, world U20 champion Karmen Bruus and European indoor bronze medallist Engla Nilsson are all set to compete.

One of Israel’s biggest athletics events welcomes an international cast of stars. Home favourite and two-time European U23 200m champion Blessing Afrifah headlines the sprints, while Dutch champion Maayke Tjin A-Lim, discus standout Alexandra Emilianov, African champion Cheswill Johnson and Olympic hurdler Damian Czykier are among the athletes in action.

tRUNsylvania International 10K

Leading the men’s entries is Morocco’s Hicham Amghar, who is familiar with both Romania and Transylvania, having won the 2024 tRUNsylvania 10K in Bra?ov in 27:09. Norway’s 2022 European 10,000m silver medallist Zerei Kbrom Mezngi and Dutch marathon star Filmon Tesfu are also entered.

The women’s race features local star and 2024 European half marathon silver medallist Joan Chelimo Melly, Great Britain’s Samantha Harrison and Kenya’s Virginia Nyambura, who was part of Kenya’s gold medal-winning mixed relay team at the 2024 World Cross Country Championships.

European 4x100m silver medallist Gémima Joseph opens her 100m season against a strong international field, while Olympic finalist Clément Ducos takes on European silver medallist Alessandro Sibilio in a high-quality 400m hurdles showdown.

In the field, Danish record-holder Katrine Koch Jacobsen leads the women’s hammer throw competition.
