Records smashed. History rewritten. Champions crowned.

Day six in Birmingham delivered 13 European titles, two world records and a string of unforgettable performances

Andy Diaz Hernandez soared to 18.15m, the fourth-longest triple jump in history. Julian Weber finally broke the 90-metre barrier with a championship record in the men's javelin.

Andreas Almgren erased a championship record that had stood since 1978, while María Pérez and Sofia Fiorini made history with world records in the race walks.

There was more British relay glory, a third gold for Amy Hunt, a record-equalling tenth European Championships medal for Dina Asher-Smith, and dominant victories from Henriette Jæger, Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Kate O’Connor.

Thirteen champions. Two world records. One extraordinary day.

Watch the best of day six from the European Athletics Championships.

A brilliant climax: 10 more finals

A massive final day beckons with 10 finals including the marathons, three relay finals with Amy Hunt going for a record fourth gold and pole vault icon Mondo Duplantis going for gold and - dare we say - another world record?

Do. Not. Miss. It.
