Saints secretary David Buchanan was part of a group from Aulay's Bar in Oban who travelled to Cameron House Hotel to meet the Scotland squad before the European Championship qualifying game against Italy at Hampden Park on Saturday 17th November, 2007. The trip, organised by SFA sponsors Tennents, included lunch at Cameron House, before meeting the players and then travelling to Strathclyde Homes Stadium in Dumbarton to watch the squad train
before the big match.

Oban Saints winners of the 2007 Argyll and Bute Cup Tournament held at Glencruitten Parks, Oban, on Saturday 4th August, 2007.

 sponsor Angus MacPhee of AMP Electrical Services (Scotland) Ltd. As well as donating
 the tracksuits Angus will be sponsoring the travel costs incurred by the team this season.

The Scottish Football Association in partnership with Argyll and Bute Council held a successful
Summer Coaching Camp on the new 3rd generation astro grass community pitch at Oban
 High School. Football Development Officer Dylan Kerr, the former Leeds and Kilmarnock
 defender and his team of coaches, Joe Lopez, Craig Anderson, Derek Millar, Jim Lynch
 and Duncan MacKinnon put 52 children through their paces during the week long course.
 Oban Saints now run five teams - Under 13, Under 15, Under 16, Under 17 and the Senior team
